Inkscape banner

Inkscape is finally up to version one! Yes that might not sound good but the developers have been making mammoth steps and recording them as eeny teeny ones. Inkscape is a well established open-source vector graphics editor similar to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Freehand, or Xara X.

It uses Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), an open XML-based W3C standard, as the native format. Often used for web banners but not limited to that. The images are infinitely scalable. So you can use it to produce prints as big as a tower block (That's a lot of paper) or something that's very very tiny.

In short, if you want any form of professional looking graphics whether in print or web based. This will help you create it.

I love Inkscape and its flexibility. its great for anyone who wants high quality graphics no matter what they want it for. This is a programme that really delivers. This is my go-too!

I was asked recently if there was a way of getting Inkscape onto an Ipad and found an adapted version of Inkscape for iPhone and iPad in the App store,

There currently (April 2021) doesn't yet seem to be an android version.
